Personally, my favorite slushy flavor is cherry and blue raspberry.

Today a close friend and I went out to the speedway to try all of their different slushies.

She tried the basic flavors you could find at most gas stations that do sell slushies. I tried the mixed flavors and other flavors that aren’t seen at many gas stations.

We enjoyed trying all the slushies for our writing! I hope you enjoy this blog!

Best slushies

Mixed flavors:

My favorite flavor we tried out of all the slushies was the berry limeade.

This flavor has a light sour/sugary taste. To me, it tastes like a strawberry lemonade from Wendy’s blended with ice.

One of the worst flavors is Bubblegum. This slushy had a bit of a tart flavor which I did not enjoy, and most people don’t either.

It also tasted like medicine you drink when you have a stomach ache called Pepto Bismol. It was very sugar as well though and tasted a lot like cheap or old gum.

The two other flavors we tried were watermelon and the sugar-free mango.

These 2 taste exactly like what the name says. The watermelon was very fruity and I tasted nothing but watermelon but the aftertaste was a little bit bitter.

The sugar-free mango taste like straight-up blended mango’s. The mango had no concentration and I had a very surprising strong taste of mango my first sip.

Basic flavors

The best flavor out of these basic ones that you can find at really any gas station is the berry limeade. This was a very sour and tart flavor.

The sprite and cherry flavor also tastes exactly like what the name says. The sprite has a stong sprite taste with a watery after taste, so there's little flavor left after you take a sip.

The cherry one is a classic. You can find this one at any gas station that sells slushies. This one is my go-to but my friend said the cherry flavor tasted like kids strawberry medicine with a red coloring added.

The brisk iced tea lemonade strawberry melon has a very sweet melon taste that overpowers most of the strawberry flavors you taste in the first few seconds.

If I had to rate these flavors on a scale of my favorite to least favorite this is how it’d look.

Wildberry lemonade, Berry limeade, cherry, sprite, brisk iced lemonade strawberry Melon, watermelon, sugar-free mango, and my least favorite... bubblegum.

Where to buy the best slushies

One of the best places to find your favorite flavored slushy is sonic! The flavors they have are like no other places.

We found our flavors at the speedway, which are the 8 different flavors I’ve explained above.

When I was younger my favorite spot to go to for slushies was seven eleven.

To me, Seven eleven is known for their variety of different “Slurpees” as they call them. Right now they have a sour patch pineapple flavor and a cool banana flavor called “Peeling out”.

I can’t wait to see another seven-eleven so I can try their super cool and trendy Slurpees.
